Andrea Grogan
Andrea is an Accounting and Finance graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
She trained in the Manchester office of the firm that is now PKF (UK) LLP and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991. During her training she acquired wide experience of the preparation and audit of the accounts of clients of all types and sizes. She also experienced a period of secondment as a client’s in house financial controller.
She left PKF shortly after qualifying and in the period between that time and joining JGA in 2009, interspersed with career breaks, she worked as in house accountant at a number of organisations including a manufacturing company, a home furnishings distribution company and a legal practice. At all of these she was responsible for all aspects of financial administration, including preparation of management accounts, budgetary control procedures, VAT and PAYE compliance and liaison with external advisers.
Her role in JGA is the management of the practice and the supervision of the affairs of a number of our general practice clients. She also plays a valuable professional support role in our expert witness practice.
